Upgrade your engine's performance with the Feuling Parts Race Series® Camshaft Kit, designed specifically for M8 chain drive applications. This comprehensive kit includes a high-performance Reaper® camshaft engineered to optimize power output and efficiency. The kit also features Racer Series full travel hydraulic lifters with 0.200 inches of total travel, allowing for smooth valve operation at high RPMs and handling steep ramped cam profiles effectively. An included gasket and O-ring set ensures a secure seal during installation, compatible with Feuling heavy-duty HP+ 0.0165-inch wall one-piece pushrods or factory-style pushrods, providing flexibility for various builds. For added reliability, the kit contains ARP® cam and crank fasteners along with a cam installation kit, all made in the USA to ensure quality and durability. Feuling recommends using one-piece pushrods over quick-install adjustable pushrods to maintain maximum cam and valve lift, especially considering the complex dynamics of 4-valve engines with dual valve springs per rocker arm. The fastener upgrade further minimizes the risk of cylinder head cracking by replacing rocker shaft bolts with studs and nuts, distributing stress more evenly across components. Designed for high-performance applications, Race Series lifters feature a slower bleed-down rate to handle steep ramped cams and heavy valvesprings, enabling higher engine RPM before valve float occurs. Please note, this kit is not suitable for 2023-2024 models equipped with 121-inch VVT motors, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance for the intended engine configurations.
