The FEULING PARTS Reaper 472 Camshaft Kit for M8 Harley-Davidson engines is designed to deliver enhanced performance and durability. This comprehensive kit includes high-performance Reaper® camshafts, HP+® lifters, and a cam installation kit featuring cam bearing, cam/crank hardware, and a gasket/O-ring set. It is engineered to support maximum cam and valve lift while maintaining optimal valvetrain stability. The kit is suitable for use with Feuling Heavy-Duty HP+® .0165" wall one-piece pushrods or factory one-piece pushrods, ensuring flexible installation options. Made in the USA, this kit is crafted with quality components to meet demanding riding conditions. Due to the complex nature of the 4-valve engine design, where one rocker arm activates two valve springs, Feuling recommends running one-piece pushrods over quick-install adjustable pushrods to minimize valvetrain harmonics, hydraulic lifter issues, and maintain consistent valve timing. The cam specs are measured at 0.050" lift with a 1.61 rocker arm ratio, offering a significant upgrade over stock components. Please note, this kit is not compatible with 2023-2024 models equipped with 121" VVT motors. While not mandatory, the use of performance valve springs can contribute to a quieter and smoother valve-train operation. For added reliability and to prevent cylinder head cracking, Feuling also recommends using their dedicated fastener kit.
