Upgrade your M8 engine's oiling system with the FEULING PARTS Oil Pump with Cam Plate - HP+®, designed to enhance oil pressure, volume, and flow for improved engine performance. This comprehensive kit includes a high-volume billet 6061 aluminum oil pump and a FEULING® High Flow billet camplate crafted from 7075 aluminum, which is 50% stronger and harder than standard or OE+ camplates. These components work together to significantly increase oil flow by enlarging reservoirs and critical passages, ensuring vital lubrication reaches the lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft, and rod bearings efficiently.
The oil pump is bench-tested with a relief valve seated and sealed to a minimum of 30 psi, with full pop-off at 55-60 psi, providing consistent and reliable oil pressure. The design reduces wet sumping, blow-by, and oily air filters, contributing to quieter and smoother engine operation. Engine temperatures can run 15°-25°F cooler, and oil temperatures 15°-30°F cooler, thanks to improved cooling and lubrication.
Additionally, this oil pump and camplate combination helps eliminate common pressure and scavenging issues associated with factory systems, ensuring optimal engine longevity and performance. The kit features a groove machined on the back cover to accept the factory crank bearing seal, making installation straightforward. Test results have demonstrated up to a 2 horsepower and 2 ft/lbs torque gain to the rear wheel on M-Eight models. The components are manufactured in the USA, guaranteeing quality and durability. Optional fastener kits are available separately for enhanced installation convenience. Proper oiling is critical during warm-up or idling, especially since the M-Eight oil pick-up port is on the right side of the engine, which can impact oil level readings on the kickstand.
