The Feuling Parts Race Series® Oil System Kit for M8 water-cooled engines (Part 7099) is engineered to deliver superior oil flow, increased pressure, and enhanced engine cooling. Featuring a high flow billet camplate made from 7075 aluminum, this kit improves durability and tolerances, providing 50% greater strength than factory components. The camplate design enlarges oil pump reservoirs and critical passages, ensuring optimal lubrication of lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft, and rod bearings. The matching oil portholes throughout the camplate enhance oil flow consistency, which is vital for maintaining engine performance under demanding conditions.
Feuling's innovative oil pumps are bench-tested and sealed to ensure a minimum of 30 psi relief pressure, with full pop-off at 55-60 psi. The larger gears and precisely sized passages significantly increase oil volume and pressure, helping eliminate common pressure drops and scavenge issues associated with stock systems. The pump’s back cover is machined to accept the factory crank bearing seal, facilitating a seamless upgrade. When installed, this combination results in quieter, smoother engine operation and runs engine and oil temperatures 15°-25°F and 15°-30°F cooler, respectively. It also provides 10-30 psi more oil pressure, supporting better lubrication and engine longevity.
The kit includes a Race Series® oil pump, high-performance hydraulic roller lifters, a high flow camplate, and all necessary installation hardware such as cam bearings, bolts, washers, and assembly lube. The Race Series® lifters are designed with increased travel—full 0.200” for full-travel lifters and 0.115” for short-travel lifters—allowing higher engine RPM and reducing valve float and harmonics. These lifters feature slower bleed-down rates and increased clearance for steep cam profiles, ensuring reliable operation at high speeds. The entire system is made in the USA, emphasizing quality and craftsmanship. Overall, this comprehensive kit enhances engine efficiency, power output, and reliability, making it an ideal upgrade for high-performance M8 water-cooled Harley-Davidson engines.
