The black synthetic filter element is wrapped in a stainless steel jacket, providing resistance to dirt and debris while maintaining consistent airflow. This inverted filter design with a pleated top and 360° pleated sides pulls in filtered air from all angles, maximizing intake performance. The kit includes a forged billet aluminum backing plate with Big Sucker™ hidden breather technology, ensuring a virtually closed-loop system by O-ring sealing the breathers at the heads and throttle body or carburetor. The exposed design of the forged billet air filter covers, along with the CNC inverted top acting as a velocity stack, helps improve airflow and throttle response. No external hoses or hardware are required for installation, simplifying the process.
