The kit features 4.32-inch bore cylinders paired with forged pistons that achieve an 11.0:1 compression ratio, delivering increased power and torque. The included components, such as the oil pump and cam plate with a durable blue anodized finish, ensure optimal oil flow and engine longevity. Passage plugs are removable for easy servicing, and independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest help maintain clean oil circulation. Both scavenge pickups are equipped with debris screens and a magnet in the cam chest to prevent debris from entering the oil pump, promoting reliable operation under demanding conditions. Increased oil flow capacity on both feed and scavenge sides enhances cooling and lubrication, supporting the engine's higher power output. The kit includes an adjustable pressure relief valve, allowing fine-tuning of oil pressure with the unit installed. Quickee pushrods, S&S premium tappets, and hard-anodized, black-coated tappet cuffs made from billet aluminum contribute to smooth valve operation and durability. S&S 550 cams are tailored for big bore applications, compatible with valve springs up to 0.605 inches lift, and feature a high-performance conical single wire spring design. All necessary gaskets, bearings, and hardware are included for a bolt-on installation, making it a complete upgrade package.
