Designed by S&S CYCLE, the 310-0878 crankcase features a 4.125 inch bore, making it an ideal foundation for custom engines or as a replacement part for models like T111, T124, and T143. Constructed from superior 356-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, it offers a combination of stock appearance with enhanced strength due to thicker wall sections. The tough powder coat finish not only provides durability but also a sleek, wrinkle black aesthetic suitable for a variety of motorcycle builds. This crankcase includes a reinforced front motor mount for additional strength and stability, ensuring it can handle demanding applications.
Equipped with a Timken® sprocket shaft bearing, it is engineered for high performance and longevity. The crankcase is clearanced to accommodate strokes up to 4-3/16 inches and cams with up to 0.720 inch lift, offering versatility for performance upgrades. It comes with a pinion and Timken® bearing pre-installed, along with studs and cam bearings, simplifying installation and assembly. The crankcase is also specially machined to support the new S&S oil line installation kits, sold separately, providing flexibility for custom oiling systems.
Manufactured in the USA, this crankcase includes a Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO), ensuring authenticity and quality.
