This premium valve spring kit from Feuling Parts is engineered to meet the demanding performance needs of V-Twin engines. Machined from high-tensile chrome silicon single-conical ovate wire, these springs are shot-peened and thermal heat-treated, ensuring exceptional fatigue life and durability. The super NexTex® finish further enhances longevity, making these springs ideal for high-performance applications. Designed as a direct bolt-in replacement, they accommodate up to 0.650" cam lift without the need for machining or rocker box clearancing, simplifying installation and reducing downtime. The kit includes Endurance BeeHive® valve springs, lightweight 7° super titanium heat-treated retainers, machined spring seats, seat shims, valve locks, and premium Viton® valve seals with a spring-loaded valve stem wiper system, providing a comprehensive upgrade for your engine's valvetrain. These components are manufactured in the USA, ensuring quality and reliability for your motorcycle engine.
The valve springs are designed with specific installed and open heights to match your engine’s specifications, supporting a range of cam lifts and ensuring optimal performance. The seat pressure varies with the lift, with a maximum of 198 lb at 1.685" and a maximum open height of 375 lb at 1.150". Proper installation at the correct open height is crucial to achieve the desired performance and longevity. Feuling’s valve spring kits are compatible with models from 1998 to 2004 Big Twin and 1986 to 2003 XL, as well as 2005 to 2017 Twin Cam engines, with the capacity to handle up to 0.574" lift for earlier models and up to 0.650" for later ones. Larger camshafts may require valve guide machining for seal clearance.
