The Dakota Digital MVX Series Analog Gauge System offers a comprehensive suite of features designed to enhance your motorcycle's instrumentation. This system includes a 140 mph speedometer, tachometer, odometer, dual resettable trip meters, and a full indicator light complement (turn signal, high beam, neutral, low oil pressure) all housed within a stylish gauge. The system is compatible with models from 1999 to 2003 and 2011 to 2022, providing versatile functionality for a wide range of motorcycles.
The MVX-2011-KG-K features advanced lighting options with seven user-selectable colors for pointer, backlight, and LCD message center in models from 1999-2003, and up to 31 colors in newer models. The 8,000 rpm tachometer includes an adjustable shift point and digital readout, allowing precise tuning. Additional features include resettable miles to service with a user-configurable countdown, an hour meter, and a 12-hour format clock, all designed to provide critical information at a glance.
Voltage monitoring with low-voltage alerts, cylinder head temperature sensor compatibility (if your bike is equipped with a factory sender), and an oil pressure sending unit (sold separately) enhance the gauge’s versatility. The system also offers a seven-speed gear position indicator compatible with 3- to 7-speed transmissions, security system indicator, automatic turn signal canceling, wait-to-start/check engine light functions, and performance calculations such as 0-60 times, top speed, peak RPM, quarter-mile time, and speed. Installation involves cut/splice wiring; it is not a plug-and-play system. The gauge case measures 4-1/4 inches in diameter with a bezel diameter of 4-5/8 inches, providing a sleek, integrated look for your motorcycle dashboard.
