The dual-rate progressive wound springs provide a balanced ride, absorbing bumps effectively while maintaining stability on various terrains. Adjustable spring preload allows you to fine-tune the suspension to match your weight and riding style, ensuring personalized comfort and handling. The ride-height can be adjusted by approximately 1/2 inch from the standard size, offering flexibility to lower or raise your motorcycle for improved ground clearance or a customized look. The black finish on the shocks, springs, and end caps adds a sleek, aggressive aesthetic that complements many motorcycle styles. These shocks mount using existing hardware, simplifying installation, but note that shocks shorter than the OEM length may reduce travel and impact ride quality and handling. Lowering your motorcycle can also decrease ground and cornering clearance, so verify wheel travel compatibility before installation to avoid clearance issues such as swingarm or axle contact with exhaust, chain or belt guards, or tires. Additionally, OEM upper shock mount covers are incompatible with these shocks, and they are not suitable for use with rear lowering kits.
