The DRAG SPECIALTIES SHOCKS Premium Ride-Height Adjustable Shocks are engineered for optimal performance and comfort on your motorcycle. These 13-inch shocks feature nitrogen-charged steel monotube damper bodies with hard chrome-plated shafts, providing durability and smooth operation under various riding conditions. The dual-rate progressive wound springs are designed to deliver a smooth, comfortable ride by adjusting to different terrains and riding styles. An adjustable spring preload allows you to fine-tune the suspension setup for personalized handling, while ride-height adjustment of approximately 1/2 inch enables you to modify ground clearance and stance to suit your preferences.
The black finish on the shocks includes black springs and damper bodies with matching black end caps and eyelets, giving your motorcycle a sleek, cohesive look. These shocks are compatible with your existing hardware for straightforward installation, but it’s important to note that shocks shorter than OEM length may reduce travel, potentially affecting ride quality and handling. Lowering the motorcycle decreases ground and cornering clearance, so ensure your wheel travel and clearance issues, such as swingarm or exhaust contact, are evaluated before installation.
Please be aware that OE upper shock mount covers will not fit with these shocks, and they are not suitable for use with rear lowering kits. Custom mounting solutions may be required for models with OEM-style offset mount shocks, especially on bikes with unique frame or suspension configurations.
