Designed for Harley Davidson FXD models from 1991 to 2017, the Drag Specialties C16-0148B premium shocks provide a balanced combination of performance and style. Featuring steel dual-tube hydraulic damper bodies with hardened chrome shafts, these shocks deliver reliable damping and durability. The dual-rate progressive wound springs ensure a smooth, controlled ride by adjusting to road conditions and rider preferences.

The shocks include an adjustable spring preload, allowing customization for rider weight and riding style, while the low ride height of 10.5 inches from center to center on the shock eyelets enhances the motorcycle's stance and handling. Chrome-plated springs and damper bodies complemented by clear anodized billet aluminum endcaps and eyelets give a sleek, high-quality appearance. Mounting is straightforward with existing hardware, but it’s important to verify compatibility with your motorcycle’s specific setup, especially when lowering the bike or altering wheel travel.

Note that these shocks are not suitable for use with rear lowering kits and will not fit OEM upper shock mount covers. When installing on models with OEM-style offset mount shocks, some custom mounting may be required. Additionally, lowering the motorcycle may reduce ground clearance and cornering ability, so proper adjustments should be considered to avoid contact issues with swingarm, exhaust, chain or belt guards, or tires. Proper measurement and understanding of your bike’s specifications are essential before installation to ensure optimal performance and safety.
