The Dakota Digital MVX Series Fatbob Gauge System offers a comprehensive instrumentation solution for motorcycles, combining analog and digital displays in a stylish design. Designed for '99-'03 models with customizable display options, the system provides seven user-selectable colors for pointers, backlights, and the LCD message center, including red, green, blue, teal, magenta, amber, and white. For newer models from 2011 to 2022, it expands to 31 color choices, enhancing visibility and personalization. The 8,000 rpm tachometer offers an adjustable shift point and digital numeric readout, aiding riders in maintaining optimal engine performance. Additional features include resettable miles to service with a user-settable countdown warning, an hour meter, a 12-hour clock, voltage readout with low-voltage alert, and optional cylinder head temperature sensing if equipped. The system also supports a separate oil pressure sending unit (sold separately) and a seven-speed gear position indicator compatible with 3- to 7-speed transmissions. Safety and convenience are further enhanced with a security system indicator, automatic turn signal canceling, wait-to-start/check engine light functions, and performance calculations such as 0-60 times, top speed, peak RPM, quarter-mile times, and speeds.
