The Bassani Xhaust Ripper 2:1 Exhaust System offers a bold, aggressive sound that outperforms standard options like the Shorty Road Rage. Crafted with precision, this system features fully welded one-piece 2-into-1 stepped headers with upswept megaphone muffler, providing enhanced performance and a distinctive tone. The headpipes transition from 1-3/4 inches to 1-7/8 inches in a stepped configuration, optimizing exhaust flow for increased horsepower and torque. The muffler measures approximately 10 inches in length with a removable louvered baffle, allowing customization of sound levels to suit your riding style. Constructed from durable stainless steel 304, the system resists corrosion and discoloration, ensuring longevity and a sleek appearance even under demanding conditions. Mild steel variants include full heat shields on chrome and black finishes, while the stainless steel system features partial heat shielding for added protection. The exhaust is hand TIG welded for quality craftsmanship and includes 18 mm O2 bungs with 12 mm adapters and plugs to facilitate tuning adjustments. Designed to fit mid-controls from 1991 to 2017 and forward controls from 2007 to 2017, this system is made in the USA and is suitable for a range of Harley-Davidson models. Please note that discoloration, such as blueing, is a natural result of tuning, cam timing, carburetor jetting, and overheating, and is not covered under warranty. Installation may require adjustments to your motorcycle's fuel-air mixture; consult the manufacturer for proper setup.
