The ICON DropShield Ultra™ motorcycle helmet offers a blend of advanced safety features and rider comfort, making it an excellent choice for serious motorcyclists. Crafted with a handcrafted fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) composite shell, this helmet provides optimal strength while maintaining a lightweight profile, ensuring extended comfort during long rides. Its intermediate-oval head-form fit caters to a wide range of riders, delivering a secure and personalized fit. Equipped with the innovative MIPS® safety system, the DropShield Ultra™ reduces rotational forces during impacts, enhancing rider safety without compromising comfort or style.
One of the standout features of this helmet is the fog-free DropShield Ultra™ visor, which is operated via an external switch for quick and effortless adjustments. The visor includes a removable molded breath deflector and chin curtain, helping to prevent fogging and ensure clear visibility in various weather conditions. The helmet also comes with a clear Pinlock® prepared shield, providing enhanced clarity in extreme conditions (Pinlock® insert lens sold separately). Multiple oversized intake and exhaust ports facilitate a recessed twin-channel supervent cooling system, keeping riders cool and comfortable even during intense rides.
Designed with premium comfort in mind, the helmet features a moisture-wicking Hydradry liner and Ax®Sude for a personalized fit. Emergency-release cheek pads allow for easy removal in case of an emergency, and the quick-change Ultrashield™ system allows for rapid shield swaps without tools. The helmet includes a dark smoke Ultrashield™ visor for riding in bright conditions and is upgradeable to HelmLink™ Bluetooth® communication systems (sold separately). The ICON DropShield Ultra™ is designed with safety, comfort, and convenience in mind, making it a versatile choice for urban commuting or long-distance touring.
