The pump features deeper scavenge kidneys to increase oil scavenging capacity, reducing wet sumping and oily air issues while promoting quieter, smoother engine operation. Improved oil flow results in engine temperatures running 15°-25°F cooler and oil temperatures 15°-30°F cooler, contributing to better overall engine longevity and performance. Bench-tested for reliability, the oil pump's relief valve is sealed to maintain a minimum of 30 psi and fully pop-offs at 55-60 psi, ensuring consistent pressure delivery. The included FEULING High Flow billet camplate, also made from 7075 aluminum, further increases oil flow by enlarging oil reservoirs and passages, matching oil portholes throughout the engine case to optimize lubrication to lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft, and rod bearings.
