Dual-rate progressive wound springs ensure a comfortable ride by adapting to varying road conditions, while the adjustable spring preload allows fine-tuning for personalized handling. The ride-height can be adjusted by approximately half an inch from the stock height, enabling customization to suit rider preferences and motorcycle setup. The black finish on the shocks includes black springs, damper bodies, and end caps, giving a sleek, unified appearance that complements a variety of motorcycle styles. Designed to mount with existing hardware, these shocks are straightforward to install on compatible models, but users should verify that the altered wheel travel does not interfere with clearance issues such as swingarm, exhaust, or chain/belt guards. Please note that shocks shorter than the original equipment length may impact ride quality and handling, and lowering the motorcycle can reduce ground and cornering clearance. OE upper shock mount covers are incompatible with these shocks, and they are not suitable for use with rear lowering kits.
