This S&S Cycle 132" Power Package (Part No. 310-1400) is designed to significantly enhance the performance of your M8 engine without requiring case modifications. The kit features a big bore 4.320" cylinder with forged pistons and an 11.0:1 compression ratio, delivering increased horsepower and torque for demanding riding conditions. The assembly includes a high-performance HPT496 cam optimized for big bore applications, providing improved valve timing and power delivery across the RPM range. The package also incorporates a multi-layered steel (MLS) head gasket to ensure reliable sealing and durability under high stresses.
The kit utilizes a chain drive system, offering precise timing and long-lasting performance, while the water-cooled design helps manage engine temperatures during extended rides. The black granite finish adds a sleek, durable appearance.
Key features include a S&S oil pump and cam plate for optimal lubrication, removable passage plugs for ease of servicing, and independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest to improve oil flow and filtration. The debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet in the cam chest help prevent debris from entering the oil pump, enhancing engine longevity. Adjustable pressure relief valves allow fine-tuning of oil pressure without disassembly.
The package is equipped with quickee pushrods and premium S&S tappets, along with hard anodized, black-coated tappet cuffs made from billet aluminum for added strength and durability.
