Upgrade your Milwaukee M8 engine with the S&S Cycle 132" Power Package HPT496 gear drive kit, designed to deliver increased performance without the need for case machining. This comprehensive kit boosts your engine from 114"/117" with a 4.50" stroke to an impressive 132", providing significant power gains while maintaining stock engine height. The kit includes a big bore 4.320" cylinder with forged pistons featuring an 11.0:1 compression ratio, ensuring durability and high performance under demanding conditions. The design retains compatibility with stock crankcases, stock valve springs (both first and second-generation round and oval ports), and the original engine serial numbers, making installation straightforward for experienced builders.
The oil system is enhanced with increased flow capacity on both feed and scavenge sides, removable passage plugs for serviceability, and a magnet in the cam chest to prevent debris from entering the oil pump. The kit also features an S&S oil pump and cam plate, contributing to improved lubrication and engine longevity.
For precise tuning, it includes an adjustable pressure relief valve that can be set with the unit installed, and it employs high-quality components such as Quickee pushrods with pushrod tubes, S&S premium tappets, and HPT496 cam designed specifically for big bore applications. The valve springs are designed to work with cams up to 0.605" lift, utilizing a high-performance conical single wire spring design. The MLS head gasket ensures a secure seal under high pressure.
Additional features include a black anodized, hard-coated billet aluminum tappet cuff, S&S valve springs, and a 132" cam cover badge for an authentic look. The entire assembly is made in the USA, offering reliability and quality craftsmanship.
