Cylinder Heads - 79 cc - Super Stock® - Twin Cam

Enhance your Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 106 engine with the S&S Cycle Super Stock Cylinder Heads, Part 106-3227. These fully assembled heads come equipped with springs and valves, designed for engines ranging from stock 88" to 103" and compatible with slightly modified engines up to 110". Featuring moderately sized 1.940-inch intake valves and 1.575-inch exhaust valves, these heads help maintain optimal port velocity in smaller displacement engines, resulting in improved low and midrange response for a more responsive ride.
Built with high performance valve springs, the heads support camshafts with up to .650-inch lift, allowing customization and performance tuning. The combustion chamber design provides a significantly higher compression ratio than stock, enhancing power output while remaining manageable for most builds. The heads can be decked up to .060 inches to increase compression further, though piston valve pockets may need re-machining for proper fit.
Designed for compatibility, these heads work seamlessly with stock rocker boxes, exhaust, and intake manifolds, simplifying installation. Machined for S&S® electric or manual compression releases, these heads are made in the USA, ensuring quality and durability. Note that they should not be used with any piston featuring a pop-up dome and are incompatible with certain models including 2014-2016 FLHTK/FLHTKL, FLHTCUTG Twin-Cooled motors, and 2017 touring models. To ensure proper sealing and performance, always use the included S&S valve cover gasket kit with stock rocker covers and S&S rocker boxes if compression releases are installed.
