Upgrade your Twin Cam engine with the S&S CYCLE Super Stock 79 cc cylinder heads, part number 90-1293, designed for exceptional performance and durability. These heads are fully assembled with springs and valves, ensuring quick and straightforward installation. They are compatible with stock engines measuring 88" to 103" but are ideally suited for larger stroker or big bore builds up to 110", providing versatile power options for various motorcycle configurations. The large 1.940" intake and 1.575" exhaust valves help maintain high port velocity, delivering excellent low and midrange response while supplying ample air for both stock and slightly larger engines to reach their full potential. This design ensures your engine performs reliably under demanding conditions. The heads feature S&S® high-performance valve springs capable of supporting camshafts with up to .650" lift, offering flexibility for future upgrades. They can be decked up to 0.060" to increase compression, providing additional tuning options for enhanced power. These heads are compatible with stock rocker boxes, exhaust, and intake manifolds, simplifying installation and maintaining your existing setup. Machined for compression releases (sold separately), these heads also support high port flow, which not only boosts current performance but also allows for future enhancements through additional modifications. Crafted in the USA, these heads are a reliable choice for serious riders seeking a combination of quality and performance. Note that if higher lift cams or decking is applied, piston valve pockets may require re-machining. The heads do not include rocker arm components, intake manifolds, or gaskets, and should not be used with pistons featuring a pop-up dome. When using S&S compression releases, compatible rocker boxes are required for proper operation, ensuring your engine maintains optimal performance and reliability.
