Each oil pump is bench-tested, with the relief valve seated and sealed to a minimum of 30 psi and calibrated for full pop-off at 55-60 psi. The pump and camplate combination is engineered to improve oil system function, reduce wet sumping, blow-by, and oily air cleaners, and may reduce engine sump oil levels by as much as 50% based on FEULING test results. The oil pump back cover is machined with a groove to accept the factory crank bearing seal. Made in the USA, this FEULING PARTS 7199 system is a performance-focused replacement for riders seeking improved oil pressure, cooling, flow, and scavenging in M8 applications. The M8 oil pickup port is located on the right side of the engine; allowing the motorcycle to idle or warm up on the kickstand can naturally fill the engine case and affect the oil tank level reading.
