The FEULING Parts Quick Change and Top End Camshaft Install Kit (Part Number: 2030) is a comprehensive solution designed for precise and efficient camshaft replacement in high-performance engines. This kit includes all necessary components such as gaskets, O-rings, cam bearing, and fasteners to facilitate camshaft installation using one-piece pushrods, making the process more straightforward and reliable. The kit also features a top rocker cover, cam cover, lifter blocks, and exhaust components, which are essential for a complete top-end rebuild or upgrade.
All O-rings for pushrod tubes, camplate, and breather assemblies are included, ensuring a proper seal and preventing leaks. The package contains cam plate roller bearings, specifically Koyo Torrington® full roller inner needle bearings, which contribute to smooth operation and durability. Additionally, it includes 12-point ARP® camshaft and crankshaft bolts, along with ARP® fastener moly paste, Loctite® compound, and hardened washers to guarantee secure fastening and long-lasting performance. The gaskets are made from high-quality materials, including copper exhaust gaskets, cam cover, lifter blocks, pushrod tube, and camplate O-rings, providing excellent sealing under high temperatures and pressures.
This quick-change and top-end kit are specially designed for high-lift camshafts, which often require cylinder head removal for installation of high-lift valve springs. It is suitable for use in VVT models, although note that these models will not utilize ARP cam fasteners. Due to the complex nature of 4-valve engine designs with one rocker arm activating two valve springs, FEULING recommends running the engine with one-piece pushrods rather than quick-install adjustable rods. This approach helps maintain maximum cam and valve lift while reducing valvetrain harmonics, ensuring optimal engine performance and longevity.
