The Feuling Parts Race Series® Oil System Kit for M8 engines (Part No. 7097ST) is designed to optimize your engine's lubrication performance with high-quality components crafted from durable materials. Featuring the FUELING® High Flow billet camplate made from 7075 aluminum, this kit provides a significant upgrade over stock parts by increasing oil flow and volume. The billet camplate is 50% harder and stronger than factory or OE+ versions, ensuring improved durability and precision under demanding conditions. Its design enlarges oil pump reservoirs and critical passages, matching oil portholes throughout the engine case, which collectively enhances oil delivery to lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft, and rod bearings for better overall engine health.
The included FUELING® oil pumps are bench tested to ensure minimum relief valve seating at 30 psi with full pop-off at 55-60 psi, providing consistent pressure and flow. These pumps feature increased gear volume and properly sized passages that eliminate common pressure and scavenge issues associated with factory systems. The M-Eight Water-Cooled™ and Oil-Cooled™ pumps deliver 30% and 27% more pressure gear volume respectively, increasing oil pressure by 10-30 psi and reducing engine and oil temperatures by up to 30°F, contributing to cooler, quieter, and more reliable engine operation. The design also includes a groove machined on the back cover to accept the factory crank bearing seal.
Additional components include a Race Series® oil pump, full-travel or short-travel hydraulic roller lifters, a high flow camplate, and an installation kit with cam bearings, bolts, washers, and engine assembly lube. The Race Series® hydraulic lifters are engineered for heavy valve spring pressures, with full .200” travel for increased RPM limits and reduced valve float, while the short-travel variants (.115”) improve high RPM performance by minimizing valve-train harmonics and oil aeration. Overall, this kit enhances oil pressure, flow, and scavenging, leading to improved horsepower and torque gains, while also eliminating wet sumping, blow-by, and oily air filters for cleaner operation.
