Upgrade your 1996-2013 Harley-Davidson FLH with the Klock Werks Flare Windshield, part number KWW-01-0701. Designed to improve airflow and riding stability compared with a stock windshield, this clear replacement shield uses an innovative profile to help manage air around the motorcycle while providing dependable coverage for both rider and passenger. Its clean styling complements the classic FLH touring platform without compromising everyday functionality.
The Flare windshield features sculpted “hips” along the outer edges of the shield that redirect airflow to create additional downforce at the front of the motorcycle. This design can help improve stability during highway riding and in changing wind conditions. The raised “flip” at the top is engineered to send air upward and rearward, helping deliver cleaner, less turbulent airflow for the rider and passenger. Together, these features provide a more controlled and comfortable touring experience.
Constructed from premium hard-coated polycarbonate, the Klock Werks Flare combines impact resistance with added durability for regular road use. The windshield is pre-drilled for straightforward installation with stock windshield hardware, making it a practical replacement or upgrade for compatible FLH models. Made in the USA, this clear windshield reflects Klock Werks’ focus on fit, function, and long-term performance. To protect the tint and hard coating, clean only with a gentle product such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which may remove wax and UV protection. When using dish soap, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
