For proper care, clean the handguards with a gentle solution such as Shine Werks® or mild soapy water. Avoid ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex®, which may affect the tint, coating, or UV protection. When using dish soap, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks® for optimal performance. This kit does not fit 2004-2013 XL models without a shim, 2004-2022 XL models equipped with offset mirror brackets, or motorcycles using bar-end mirrors. Always verify the motorcycle’s exact equipment and available clearance before installation.
