Upgrade your 1983-1993 FXRT with the Klock Werks Flare Windshield, part number KWW-02-0573, finished in dark smoke. Designed to improve the riding experience compared with a stock shield, the innovative Flare profile uses aerodynamic “hips” along the outer edges to redirect airflow and add downforce to the front of the motorcycle. This helps promote improved stability, particularly during highway riding and other conditions where wind management is important.
The Flare’s raised upper flip is engineered to send airflow up and back, helping create cleaner, less turbulent air for both the rider and passenger. The windshield is made in the USA and built with the quality and performance expected from Klock Werks. To protect the tint and hard coating, clean only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which may remove wax and UV protection. When using dish soap, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
