Designed for 1996–2013 Harley-Davidson FLHT and FLHX models, this windshield combines distinctive styling with functional airflow management. Its vibrant fluorescent edge adds a bold visual accent while the high-quality acrylic construction provides a durable replacement for the factory shield. Part number KWW-01-0656 delivers a direct, clean installation using the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware.
The innovative Flare® profile uses “hips” along the outer edges of the shield to redirect airflow and create additional downforce at the front of the motorcycle. This aerodynamic design helps improve stability compared with riding with a stock windshield, particularly when touring or riding at highway speeds. A carefully shaped flip at the top of the shield lifts the air stream and sends it back as cleaner, less turbulent air toward both the rider and passenger. The result is a more controlled airflow experience without sacrificing the distinctive appearance of the Flare® design.
Made in the USA, the Klock Werks Ice Kolor Flare® Windshield is engineered for riders who want dependable performance and a custom finish. To help protect the tint, color, surface treatment, wax, and UV protection, clean the shield only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which can damage the finish and reduce long-term protection. When using dish soap, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
