The innovative Flare windshield design incorporates sculpted “hips” along the outer edges of the shield. These contours redirect airflow to generate additional downforce at the front of the motorcycle, helping improve stability compared with riding with a stock windshield. A raised “flip” at the top of the shield is engineered to lift and redirect air over the rider and passenger, producing a cleaner, less turbulent airflow. This design helps create a more comfortable riding environment during touring, commuting, and extended road trips.
The Klock Werks Ice Flare Windshield is pre-drilled for straightforward installation using the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware. It is made in the USA and is designed as a practical replacement or upgrade for compatible Harley-Davidson fairings. To help protect the tint, finish, and UV protection, clean the windshield only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which can strip protective coatings. If dish soap is used, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
