The innovative Flare design incorporates “hips” along the outer edges of the shield to redirect airflow and add downforce to the front of the bike. This can improve stability compared with riding with a stock windshield, particularly when maintaining speed on the open road. A raised “flip” at the top of the shield is engineered to send air up and over the rider and passenger, helping produce cleaner, less turbulent airflow for a more comfortable ride.
This KLOCK WERKS Kolor Flare Windshield is pre-drilled for straightforward installation using the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware. Made in the USA, it offers a precise replacement solution without requiring specialized mounting components. To preserve the purple tint, protective coating, and UV protection, clean the windshield only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which may damage the finish. If dish soap is used, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
