Upgrade your touring motorcycle with the KLOCK WERKS Kolor Flare Windshield, part number KWW-01-0700. Designed for 1996–2013 Harley-Davidson FLHT and FLHX models, this purple windshield combines distinctive styling with functional airflow management. Its vibrant fluorescent edge adds a bold visual accent, while the high-quality acrylic construction provides a durable, motorcycle-specific replacement for the stock shield.
The innovative Flare design incorporates raised “hips” along the outer edges of the shield to redirect airflow and add downforce to the front of the motorcycle. This can help improve stability compared with riding with a stock windshield. At the top, the engineered “flip” is designed to send air upward and rearward, helping create cleaner, less turbulent airflow for both the rider and passenger. The result is a windshield built to support a more comfortable and controlled touring experience.
The KLOCK WERKS Kolor Flare Windshield is pre-drilled for straightforward installation using the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware. It is made in the USA and provides an easy way to refresh the appearance and airflow performance of compatible Harley-Davidson touring models. To help protect the purple tint and surface coating, clean only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which may remove wax and UV protection. When using dish soap, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s finish and performance.
