The innovative Flare design uses raised “hips” along the outer edges of the shield to redirect air and add downforce to the front of the motorcycle. This can improve stability compared with riding with a stock windshield, particularly when managing changing airflow on the road. The “flip” at the top of the shield is designed to send air up and back, helping provide cleaner, less turbulent airflow for both the rider and passenger. This Klock Werks windshield is pre-drilled for straightforward installation using the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware. To help protect the tint and UV coating, clean only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which may strip protective finishes. If dish soap is used, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
