The innovative Flare design uses raised “hips” along the outer edges of the shield to redirect airflow and add downforce to the front of the motorcycle. This aerodynamic effect can improve stability compared with riding with a stock windshield, helping create a more controlled experience at cruising speeds. At the top of the shield, the patented-style “flip” is shaped to send air upward and rearward, producing cleaner, less turbulent airflow for both the rider and passenger. The result is a balanced combination of wind protection, stability, and improved comfort for extended rides.
The Klock Werks Kolor Flare Windshield is pre-drilled for straightforward installation using the stock windshield hardware, making it a practical replacement or upgrade for compatible motorcycles. It is proudly made in the USA and features a bronze finish with a fluorescent edge for added visual impact. To preserve the tint, coating, wax, and UV protection, clean the windshield only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which may damage the surface. If dish soap is used, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
