The innovative Flare design incorporates “hips” along the outer edges of the shield. These contours redirect airflow to help create additional downforce at the front of the motorcycle, improving stability compared with riding with a stock windshield. The shaped upper “flip” is designed to direct air upward and rearward, helping provide cleaner, less turbulent airflow for both the rider and passenger. This balanced airflow management can contribute to a more comfortable ride during highway travel and extended touring.
The Klock Werks Kolor Flare Windshield is pre-drilled for straightforward installation using the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware. Made in the USA, it delivers a practical fit and a bold appearance without requiring extensive modifications. To protect the tint, finish, and UV coating, clean the windshield only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which can strip protective coatings. If dish soap is used, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
