The Klock Werks Pro-Touring Flare Windshield is designed for riders and passengers who want increased wind protection on extended rides without sacrificing a clean, stylish appearance around town. This wider, full-coverage windshield is engineered for 1998-2013 FLTR motorcycles and provides a more comfortable riding environment for both touring and everyday use. Part number KWW-01-0256 delivers the trusted fit and performance associated with Klock Werks touring components.
The patented Pro-Touring Flare design incorporates side “hips” that redirect wind away from the rider and passenger while adding downforce to the motorcycle’s front end. This can help improve stability compared with riding with the stock windshield. A carefully designed flip at the top of the windshield redirects airflow rearward as cleaner, less turbulent air, helping reduce buffeting and improve long-distance comfort. The shape was developed and tested in a wind tunnel for dependable aerodynamic performance.
Constructed from premium hard-coated polycarbonate, the Klock Werks Pro-Touring Flare Windshield is made for safety, durability, and consistent performance. It is predrilled for straightforward installation using the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware, helping simplify replacement or upgrade work. The windshield is proudly made in the USA. To protect the tint and hard coating, clean only with gentle products such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which can remove wax and UV protection. When using dish soap, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s appearance and performance.
