The Klock Werks Pro-Touring Flare Windshield, part number KWW-01-0705-T, is designed for riders and passengers who want greater wind protection during long-distance touring without sacrificing a stylish appearance for everyday riding. This tinted windshield provides expanded coverage while complementing the streamlined look of compatible 2023-2026 Harley-Davidson FLTRX and FLTRT motorcycles. Its wider profile helps create a more comfortable riding environment by managing airflow around both the rider and passenger.
The patented Pro-Touring Flare design incorporates distinctive side “hips” that redirect wind away from the rider while helping add downforce to the motorcycle’s front end. This can improve perceived stability compared with riding with the stock windshield. A carefully engineered flip at the top of the Flare redirects air back as cleaner, less turbulent airflow, helping reduce disruptive buffeting for the rider and passenger. The design was developed and tested in a wind tunnel to support dependable performance on extended rides and daily commutes alike.
Made in the USA from premium hard-coated polycarbonate, the Klock Werks Pro-Touring Flare is built for safety and added durability. The windshield is predrilled for straightforward installation using the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware, making it a practical upgrade for riders who want enhanced coverage without unnecessary installation complexity. To help preserve the tint and protective coating, clean the surface only with a gentle product such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which may remove wax and UV protection. If dish soap is used, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s finish and performance.
