The Klock Werks Pro-Touring Flare Windshield is designed for Harley-Davidson FLTR models from 1998 through 2013, providing riders and passengers with broader, more complete wind coverage for extended touring. Its Dark Smoke finish adds a custom appearance that is equally suitable for long-distance travel and everyday riding. The windshield is engineered to improve the overall riding experience while complementing the motorcycle’s original styling.
The patented Flare design incorporates side “hips” that redirect airflow away from the rider and passenger while adding downforce to the motorcycle’s front end. This can help improve stability compared with riding with the stock windshield. A carefully shaped flip at the top redirects air rearward as cleaner, less turbulent airflow, helping reduce buffeting for both the rider and passenger. The design was developed and tested in a wind tunnel to support dependable aerodynamic performance.
Manufactured in the USA from premium hard-coated polycarbonate, the Klock Werks Pro-Touring Flare Windshield offers safety and enhanced durability for regular road use. It is predrilled for straightforward installation with the motorcycle’s stock windshield hardware, helping simplify replacement or upgrade projects. To preserve the Dark Smoke tint and protective coating, clean only with a gentle product such as Shine Werks or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh ammonia, alcohol, and solvent-based cleaners, including Windex, which may remove wax and UV protection. If dish soap is used, follow with a wax-based cleaner such as Shine Werks to help maintain the windshield’s finish and performance.
