The Progressive Suspension 944 Ultra Low shocks are engineered to provide a smooth and controlled ride for touring motorcycles with a lowered stance. Featuring innovative Frequency Sensing Technology (FST), these shocks automatically adjust damping based on bump frequency, ensuring superior ride quality across various terrains. The FST system enhances comfort by providing optimal damping during different riding conditions, reducing rider fatigue and improving handling. Designed with durability in mind, these shocks are made in the USA and built to withstand demanding touring applications with consistent performance. The shocks are available in three configurations—Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Super Heavy Duty—allowing riders to select the appropriate setup based on their load requirements, from up to 250 lbs to over 350 lbs. An additional advantage is the ability to manually adjust spring pre-load without requiring special tools, making setup straightforward and personalized for individual preferences. The progressive rate main springs are specifically designed for touring, offering a balanced combination of comfort and stability. Please note that these shocks sit approximately 2 inches lower on most models, which may affect ground clearance and clearance around swingarms, exhaust systems, and chain or belt guards.
