S&S Cycle 590G Gear Drive Camshaft Kit for Harley-Davidson M8 Engines, 330-0732
Regular price $465.95 USD
Category:
The S&S Cycle 590G Gear Drive Camshaft Kit is designed for Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight engines equipped with monster bores and ported cylinder heads. Part number 330-0732 is intended for high-performance engine builds rather than stock-bore applications, providing an all-out horsepower camshaft solution for engines measuring 124 cubic inches or larger. The gear-drive design eliminates the stock cam chain and helps improve cam timing accuracy for demanding performance applications.
For installation, this kit requires Quickee adjustable pushrods with cover keepers. Touring models also require a heavy-duty valve spring kit to support the camshaft’s performance requirements. The kit includes outer drive gears, bearings, O-rings, and installation hardware, providing the primary components needed to convert the cam drive system and support reliable operation when installed with the required supporting parts.
S&S Cycle recommends replacing the tappets whenever the camshaft is replaced. For Milwaukee-Eight models, S&S suggests using a Precision Tappet set without HL2T Kit and Tappet Cuffs. Proper component selection, installation, and engine setup are essential to achieve the intended performance and durability of this camshaft kit. Made in the USA, the S&S Cycle 590G camshaft kit is suited to builders seeking improved valve train timing control and increased horsepower potential in large-displacement M8 engines.
