Enhance your 107-inch Milwaukee 8 (M8) engine with the S&S CYCLE Power Pack 550C oil-cooled kit, designed to deliver increased performance and reliability. This bolt-on upgrade increases engine displacement from 107 inches to 129 inches without requiring case machining, making it a straightforward installation for compatible models. The kit features 4.32-inch bore cylinders with an 11.0:1 compression ratio forged pistons that improve power output and efficiency.
Constructed with precision, the kit includes an S&S oil pump and cam plate with a durable blue anodized finish, complemented by removable passage plugs for easy servicing. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest ensure optimal oil flow and filtration, while debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet in the cam chest help prevent contaminants from entering the oil pump, extending engine longevity. Increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides supports high-performance operation under demanding conditions.
The kit is equipped with an adjustable pressure relief valve, allowing fine-tuning of oil pressure even with the unit installed. Quickee pushrods, S&S premium tappets, and hard-anodized, black-coated tappet cuffs made of billet aluminum contribute to durability and precise valve operation. The S&S 550 cams are specially designed for big bore applications, working seamlessly with valve springs up to 0.605 inches of lift. The high-performance conical single-wire spring design enhances valve stability at high RPMs. Made proudly in the USA, this kit is compatible with VVT models but not suitable for trike configurations. Please note that intake and rocker cover gaskets are not included, so plan accordingly for installation.
