The oil pump and cam plate are precision machined from billet aluminum, with removable passage plugs for easy servicing. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and camchest, debris screens in both scavenge pickups, and a magnet in the camchest help prevent debris from entering the oil pump, enhancing engine longevity. The flow on the supply side increases by 44%, and on the scavenge side by 58%, promoting better oil circulation and cooling efficiency. The pressure relief valve is adjustable with the unit installed in the engine, allowing fine-tuning of oil pressure for optimal performance.
The Quickee pushrods facilitate installation and durability, while the S&S premium tappets, with hard anodized, billet aluminum, black-coated tappet cuffs, ensure tappet stability at high lift and high RPM situations. The included 550 camshaft is designed for performance, paired with valve springs that accommodate camshaft lifts up to 0.605 inches, along with top collars, keepers, valve seals, and bottom collars for comprehensive valve train support.
