The oil pump and cam plate feature removable passage plugs for easy servicing and incorporate independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and camchest, enhancing oil efficiency. Debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet in the camchest help prevent debris from entering the oil pump, contributing to engine longevity. The system offers a 44% increase in supply side flow and a 58% increase on the scavenge side, ensuring sufficient lubrication and cooling under demanding conditions. An adjustable pressure relief valve allows fine-tuning of oil pressure once installed in the engine.
The Quickee pushrods facilitate installation, while the premium tappets with hard anodized, billet aluminum, black-coated tappet cuffs provide stability during high lift and high RPM operation. The included 550 camshaft from S&S is optimized for performance, and the valve springs are compatible with camshafts up to 0.605 inches lift.
