Upgrade your M8 engine with the S&S Cycle Power Pack 550G oil-cooled kit, designed specifically for 114 and 117-inch engines with a 4.5-inch stroke. This bolt-in kit increases engine displacement to 132 inches without requiring case machining, providing a significant boost in power and performance. Featuring an updated profile, the kit includes 4.32-inch bore cylinders with an 11.0:1 compression ratio forged pistons, ensuring durability and high performance under demanding conditions. The inclusion of a premium S&S oil pump and cam plate with a sleek blue anodized finish enhances oil flow and reliability, while removable passage plugs facilitate servicing and maintenance. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest improve oil circulation, complemented by debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet in the cam chest to prevent debris from entering the oil pump, extending engine life. The design offers increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides, supporting high-performance applications. An adjustable pressure relief valve allows fine-tuning of oil pressure with the unit installed in the engine, ensuring optimal lubrication. The kit also includes Quickee pushrods and S&S premium tappets, with hard-anodized, black-coated tappet cuffs made from billet aluminum for added durability. S&S 550 cams are optimized for big bore applications and work seamlessly with valve springs rated for up to 0.605 inches of lift, utilizing a high-performance conical single-wire spring design. Made in the USA, this kit is compatible with VVT models but is not suitable for trike applications. Please note that intake and rocker cover gaskets are not included, and compatibility with certain models should be verified before installation.
