The kit features a 4.32-inch bore with forged pistons that deliver an 11.0:1 compression ratio, ensuring durability and high performance under demanding conditions. The updated profile and precision engineering of this kit optimize airflow and combustion, resulting in improved throttle response and overall engine output. The inclusion of a high-quality oil pump and cam plate with a sleek blue anodized finish ensures reliable lubrication and longevity. Passage plugs are removable for easy servicing, and independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest facilitate efficient oil circulation. Both scavenge pickups include debris screens, and a magnet in the cam chest helps prevent debris from entering the oil pump, protecting vital engine components. The kit also increases oil flow capacity on both feed and scavenging sides, supporting high-performance operation. An adjustable pressure relief valve allows fine-tuning of oil pressure without removing the unit from the engine. Quickee pushrods and premium S&S tappets improve valve train reliability, while hard-anodized, black-coated tappet cuffs made from billet aluminum provide added durability. S&S 550 cams are specifically designed for big bore applications, with valve springs capable of handling cams up to 0.605 inches lift. The high-performance conical single wire spring design enhances valve stability at high RPMs. Made in the USA, this kit is compatible with VVT models but not suitable for trike configurations.
