The oil system enhancements feature an S&S oil pump and cam plate, with removable passage plugs for easy servicing. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest improve oil flow efficiency, supported by debris screens in both pickups and a magnet in the cam chest to prevent debris from reaching the oil pump. The increased oil flow capacity on both feed and scavenging sides ensures optimal lubrication during high performance riding.
The kit incorporates Quickee pushrods with pushrod tubes, S&S premium tappets, and hard anodized, black-coated tappet cuffs constructed from billet aluminum for durability. S&S valve springs, with a high-performance conical design and capable of handling up to 0.605-inch lift, are included to support aggressive cam profiles. The MLS (multi-layered steel) head gasket maintains a reliable seal under high pressure, while the adjustable pressure relief valve allows fine-tuning of oil pressure with the unit installed. This power package preserves the stock engine height, works with stock crankcases, and is compatible with stock and S&S roller rocker arms.
