The package features a high-performance 496 cam optimized for big bore setups, offering increased power and torque while maintaining compatibility with stock crankcases and original engine serial numbers.
Built with quality and durability in mind, the kit includes the S&S oil pump and cam plate with removable passage plugs for easy servicing, and independent scavenge sections for flywheel cavity and cam chest, ensuring optimal oil flow and debris management. The debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet in the cam chest help prevent contaminants from entering the oil pump, protecting your engine’s vital components.
The upgrade offers increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenging sides, along with an adjustable pressure relief valve that can be fine-tuned while installed in the engine. Quickee pushrods with pushrod tubes, S&S premium tappets, and hard anodized black-coated tappet cuffs made from billet aluminum ensure reliable operation and longevity. The included S&S valve springs are compatible with cams up to 0.605" lift and feature a high-performance conical single-wire design for improved valve control.
