The S&S Cycle Super Stock Cylinder Heads (Part Number 106-3240) are engineered to optimize performance for 2006-2016 Harley-Davidson Twin Cam engines with stock crankcases. Fully assembled with springs and valves, these heads provide a significant upgrade over stock components, enhancing airflow and combustion efficiency. They are ideal for touring bikes and heavy vehicles, especially when paired with larger stroker or big bore engines up to 110 inches, offering increased power and response.
Designed with large 2.000-inch intake and 1.605-inch exhaust valves, these heads maintain port velocity for excellent low and midrange response while allowing sufficient airflow for larger engines. The combustion chamber configuration provides a slightly higher than stock compression ratio, enabling improved performance without sacrificing drivability. Compatible with stock rocker boxes, exhaust, and intake manifolds, these heads simplify installation and maintain factory reliability.
Built in the USA, the S&S Super Stock heads feature high-performance valve springs capable of supporting camshaft lifts up to 0.650 inches, facilitating custom cam upgrades for further performance gains. The intake ports flow 264 CFM compared to 182 CFM in stock heads, translating into more efficient air intake and increased horsepower. They are suitable for engines with stock displacement but are particularly effective on engines with larger bore configurations. Note that these heads are not compatible with certain models featuring OEM compression releases or late-model Twin Cooled motors, and require the use of S&S rocker boxes if compression releases are utilized, ensuring optimal operation and durability.
