The S&S CYCLE T111 Long Block Engine, part number 310-0834A, is engineered for optimal performance in Touring motorcycles. The easy start 585 gear drive cams feature a redesigned cam cover, ensuring smoother operation and improved reliability. The TC3 oil pump and cam plate further support the engine's efficient oil flow and overall longevity. Made in the USA, this engine is designed for compatibility with stock or aftermarket intake systems, offering flexibility for customization.
The revised oil routing on '99-'06 Touring models eliminates the need for an oil line installation kit, simplifying installation and maintenance. Cylinder heads on this long block are styled after the '99-'05 models, but owners of '06 models will need to purchase '99-'05 style, offset intake flanges to ensure proper fit. The cylinder heads are specially machined to accommodate the non-stock cylinder length, allowing compatibility with stock-length intake runners, manifold, and throttle body. The breather vent bolt location has also been adjusted to match stock positioning, enabling the use of stock-style air cleaner back plates.
