The S&S Cycle T124 Long Block Engine (Part 310-0831A) is engineered for high performance and durability in touring and Dyna motorcycles. This long block features high compression and specially machined heads to ensure optimal fitment with stock length intake manifolds, including S&S manifold size 410. The design incorporates revised oil routing on models from 1999 to 2006, eliminating the need for an oil line installation kit, simplifying installation and maintenance.
Constructed with Super Stock™ heads, crankcases, a TC3 oil pump, cam plate, and easy start 640 gear drive cams, this engine delivers enhanced power and reliability. Made in the USA, it is designed to meet high-performance standards while maintaining compatibility with stock-style air cleaner back plates. The breather vent bolt has been repositioned to the stock location, ensuring seamless integration with existing components.
The cylinder heads are based on the '99-'05 style, with the '06 models requiring offset intake flanges for proper fitment. The engine's cylinder design is specially machined to accommodate non-stock cylinder length, enabling compatibility with the manifold and throttle body featuring stock length intake runners. Note that this engine does not include fuel or ignition systems, allowing customization based on individual build preferences. Please be aware that the T-series engine is not compatible with Softail models, ensuring proper application for touring and Dyna bikes.
