The S&S Cycle V111 Long-Block Engine is designed for 1984–1999 Harley-Davidson® Big Twin chassis and custom frames built for Evolution® Big Twin engines. This natural-finish performance engine delivers an estimated 30% increase in horsepower and torque over stock configurations, making it a strong replacement or upgrade for riders seeking improved acceleration and overall engine performance. It is configured for motorcycles with an alternator-style primary drive and is engineered for straightforward installation in compatible applications.
The V111 uses a short-stroke design to help reduce vibration and support longer engine life. Its shorter-than-stock engine height can simplify installation and provide additional clearance within custom frame applications. S&S Cycle Big Fin cylinders provide increased fin area for improved heat dissipation, while exclusive oil jets help cool the undersides of the pistons. A high-volume, high-pressure oil pump supports dependable lubrication for the performance-oriented engine combination.
Internally, the engine features durable S&S Cycle three-piece flywheels, a Performance 585 camshaft, and matched valve springs.
